Unhappy with new veneers, do I have to pay again to have them redone or is it the dentist's responsibility? (Photos)

It really depends on the dental office and the dentist.  Since you notified the dentist so quickly, it seems that he/she would replace the veneers that you are unhappy with for free, but because I do not know all of the details of your case, I can not say exactly what the dentist should do.  The very best thing to do in your case would be to discuss this with the dentist during your appointment next week.  I would assume that he/she wants to see you happy.I hope this helps.Dr. Sarah Thompson

If you are unhappy with the treatment you have had done, it is important to express that to your dentist.  It would help for you to know exactly what you are unhappy about-- is it the shade? the shape? the size? It would help to take in photos of teeth that you do like so that your dentist can see teeth that you like.  Of course there are limitations, but it most cases you can try to make the teeth as similar as possible to teeth that you like.  Additionally, make sure the next time around that you try in the restorations prior to having them permanently put in.  The dentist is not required to redo your restorations, but most dentists want you to be happy and they will offer for you to have them redone.  Since dental procedures are serious and usually irreversible, it is important that you do your research and see a dentist that is experienced in the treatment you are looking to have done.

I think most dentists will want you to be happy with your final result. If you have a conjversation pointing out your concerns most dentists will accept the financial responsibility. They are not required to but it creates good will.
