you can travel in my practice after gladiator vaser lipo and renuvion at 2 weeks if you do daily aftercare. Best, Dr. Emer.
Flying after your liposuction is possible, especially two weeks post-op. Based on how long your flight is, you will need to move around/ walk in the plane to help with blood circulation, etc.
When it comes to liposuction there is no restrictions on flying. That decision would be entirely up to you.
There are a number of factors that influence the risk of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolus). Surgery itself is a risk factor. Travel can increase this risk further. The risk of blood clots after travel is related to prolonged periods of immobilization with longer flights or car rides increasing the risk of blood clots. There are several individual factors that may increase your risk for blood clots and I would encourage you to discuss your travel plans with your surgeon.
Long flights have a slightly increased risk for blood clots as do surgery. Long flights are considered six hours or more. Two weeks seems like a reasonable amount of time. Matshagstromm MD
Hi and welcome to our forum!Flying after liposuction requires a period of extended immobility. In the literature, the risk of pulmonary embolism after liposuction ranges from 0 to 1%. One is most likely to get a clot 3-7 days after surgery, but the risk remains increased for 3 months or so.The risk of pulmonary embolism increases if the patient has a history of previous lower extremity deep vein disease, injury, obesity, age more than 40, prolonged immobility, varicose veins, and inherited blood dyscrasias.I would certainly make my surgeon aware of your travel plans. You may require compression garments and limit activity for a specific period of time after your surgery if directed to do so. Extended travel may be ill-advised, especially with the changes in air pressure experienced during commercial flight.Speak with your surgeon before your surgery.Best wishes...
Liposuction will make your skin look worse. It will not fix your hanging neck. What do you need is a facelift. Liposuction does not deliver good results in those who don’t have a good skin elasticity. As a general rule might cut off his age 50. I don’t think you’ll be happy with any form of li...
It looks like you have amazing arms, with toned muscles. I would bet that the majority of the "fat" in the lower arm is your triceps muscle with the small amount of fat required to give the skin smoothness. I fear you would either see minimal results or be harmed with a procedure. No arm is...
You can have liposuction with neuropathy but I would get medical clearance. also best to take neurontin and do hyperbaric therapy during healing. my whole practice is doing lipoabdominoplasty, or at least liposuction with internal heating (which is not the gold standard for skin tightening with...
