Your skin doesnt need to shed like a snake whenever you do a peel inorder for it to work. Microdermabrasion also gets rid of dead skin so when you do that in combination with the peel, the peel goes in deeper and will work on accelerating the skin turnover as opposed to shedding the dead skin on the surface. Maybe try doing a peel without doing the microdermabrasion next time. It also depends on what kind of peel you are getting done as well. Most designer peels and jessner peels are the ones that really make the skin shed as opposed to the AHA peels.
