Chemical burns from Microdermoabrasion with enzyme peel, should I be worried? (photos)

i received an enzyme peel followed by a microdermabrasion. Immediately looking at my face after the treatment it was very very red, dark spots and tender spots. I have had a micro in the past and have left looking great. Did my micro tech do something wrong? Should i be worried?

Hello and thank you for sharing. It is possible that this may have been too much for your skin to handle. With that said, some redness and irritation post peels is common. In the meantime, you can use OTC products such as Silver by Curad, a gentle cleanser and SPF. Give it time to heal and if you notice skin irritation does not improve, and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation worsens, seek the advice of a board certified dermatologist in your area.
