I found the Skandii Medspa very nice, friendly, and professional environment. It had a wide variety of services, some I did not know even existed. Everyone was very informative and helpful. Look forward to my treatment. Melissa L
If you wait a couple weeks after injection hyperbaric oxygen likely will not interfere with the filler itself. Typically these fillers are stable snd well set inthe tissue in a 2 week period of time so that even physical manipulation will not dislodge them. Make sure the physician doing the treatment is aware you have these fillers and when they were injected. This way, the areas injected can be monitored to ensure no unusual effect is happening.
A chemical peel helps promote cellular turn over and so- this definitely improves the appearance of the skin. One is not enough, and I would add other treatments. I would combine hydrafacial with chemical peel monthly and then as the event got closure would switch to intraceuticals oxygen facials. On a daily routine get s high quality cleanser, toner, moisturizer spf. Obagi makes a 3 step kit and it will be well worth the money!
The aging process is associated with fat loss in the face, thinning skin, and bone resorption. It becomes more obvious after the age of 29. So, weightloss can affect your appearance but the ligament issue is not as important as skin laxity. I would suggest skin tightening with radio frequency- add nanofractiong or skin resurfacing to improve tone. Then, consider filler along zygoma- not too much. Most importantly, look to dietary habits. A clean diet does more for your complexion than almost anything else.
The aging process of the face is in part due to fat loss in the face. Any reduction of fat in the face will accelerate the aging appearance and worsen jowls, etc. Furthermore- the head and neck has too many vital structures for liposuction to be safe. Nasolaboal folds are best addressed with filler and even skin tightening and resurfacing. Under the neck, you can reduce fat with kybella or radiofrequency devices. I suggest radiofrequency because it causes skin contraction as well as fat reduction. Go see an experienced physician! Do not even consider liopsuction for your concern!
The occlusion risk from filler would still exist due to either mass effect or direct embolization of the vessels. Furthermore, dilution would make the effect more short lived- in otherwords, you would have the same risks but decreased benefit. Do not do it that way!
