What is the risk of PIH for CO2 Laser treatment on Asian skin?

Hi, I read multiple studies stating that the risk for PIH post CO2 laser treatment (even fractional) Asian type 3,4 skins are around 40-50% and as high as 73%. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35220459/ Is this not an option for any types higher than 2?
