Are acne breakouts common post ablative C02 laser treatments?

Hi I am fixingvto have ablative co2 laser this afternoon. My sister had the procedure 7 weeks ago. I am getting extremely nervous because at 6 weeks she is experiencing extreme acne breakouts. Has anyone had this procedure with breakouts 6 weeks in? She is now in week 7 with the breakouts continuing. Thank you!
