I have mild rosacea and wondering if Laser Tattoo Removal will cause my skin to flare up? Really want to have microblading removed in time for my wedding in September.
Answer: Enlighten for Laser Tattoo Removal Hello and thank you for your question! Our practice uses and recommends Enlighten™, as it is the most advanced laser tattoo removal system in the market. This laser uses two different pulse speeds, Picosecond and Nanosecond, which allows our medical providers to tailor the treatment to each individual. Since EnlightenTM uses the most advanced technology, it creates optimal results in fewer treatments than older variations of laser tattoo removal, such as Q-Switched technology. In addition, EnlightenTM is safe for all skin tones. As for the effects on your rosacea, the laser won’t aggravate it. If anything, it might moderately benefit you as the Enlighten laser targets the pigment in your skin. If this is something you would be interested in, research trained professionals in your area that use EnlightenTM and set up a consultation to determine if you will be a good fit and to discuss a treatment plan for your specific case. Hope this helps!

Answer: Tattoo Removal There are a few issues here. First, the laser will not effect roscacea. As for laser removal of a tattoo, the tattoo must be at least 3-4 months old before treatment can begin. It usually requires between 4- 8 laser treatments, 6 weeks between treatment, to remove a tattoo. That being said you stated that you had a microblading. Microbrading is more difficult remove completely. Consult with a doctor the has a pico-second laser.

Answer: Removing Microbladed eyebrows Hello, I do not think laser to your eyebrow area will irritate your rosacea. Also, microbladed brows often have a mix of colors in them. in your case a mix of black and orange/red. Start by removing the black on top, then the orange/red color will show through. The next time they will hit the orange/red and then the black. When the orange/red is hit it may turn a gray color. If so, then lasering immediately with the black laser is appropriate. Microbladed brows are absolutely able to be removed as long as they did not put in a flesh-toned or white ink. Flesh-toned and white ink are almost impossible to remove without several, several treatments. Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Answer: It Usually Doesn't Take 4-8 Treatments! Thanks for your question and posting a picture. Don't listen to the previous answer by someone that probably hasn't removed eyebrow tattoos. We have treated dozens and dozens. We usually remove them in 1-2 treatments. Get started early! Sometimes the eyebrows are TEMPORARILY burned off or changed to a FUNKY color. The laser used is not the correct wavelength for LHR. The laser should not stir up your Rosacea. Make sure you they are using a picosecond laser. I hope this helps.
