Can my cosmetic eyebrow tattoo with titanium dioxide be removed? (Photo)

Our practice uses and recommends Enlighten™, as it is the most advanced laser tattoo removal system in the market.  This laser uses two different pulse speeds, Picosecond and Nanosecond, which allows our medical providers to tailor the treatment to each individual. The number of treatments required depends on the amount of ink used, how deep the ink is, and size of the tattoo.  We typically see complete removal within 6-9 treatments and it is best to wait 10-12 weeks between each treatment, in order to provide the body with adequate time to break down and dispose of the ink particles.

Yes, cosmetic eyebrow tattoos can be removed using laser treatment. In our office. We use Picoway laser to treat most face and body ink with excellent results. This device shatters the pigment in the ink into tiny particles that can be reabsorbed by the body. Multiple sessions are needed and it is difficult to know exactly how many without assessing you in person. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in laser tattoo removal. Yes you can remove it. However, your tattoo will probably go black first before you are able to remove it. I find that most titanium dioxide inks darken up on laser application first.
