Did I tear something a year and a half after my tuck?

I had a TT 1.5 years ago. Recently I feel like I did after surgery, like my muscles are tearing inside. It hurts to move at times especially if my abs are engaged. My belly button scar is even protruding now too. I do have more of a bulge on top of my belly button than I do below. It's weird and I'm worried about it. I had the TT because I had Diastasis Recti pretty bad and an umbilical hernia. Any thoughts?

It’s difficult to determine what the issue is from your description alone. I advise you to see your plastic surgeon for an in-person follow up appointment to ensure there is no change to your muscle repair and no evidence of a hernia. This is the best way to ensure that there is no further surgical indication.

An exam is needed to know for sure if permanent damage has occurred.  You may have simply injured the area which should improve with time and rest.  Visit with your surgeon if your concerns do not improve over the coming week.
