I really want to know how to lighten my dark pubic area...it really looks ugly with lips dark and wrinkled....i need to get rid of this..please help.....

Dear taksharya:This is a common issue. It can be intrinsic to your skin, or you may have had inflammation from shaving or waxing, other trauma or even just chafing. Topical with potent ingredients that have been proven to lighten skin and redistribute pigment can slowly correct the problem. These ingredients include retinol, glycolic acid, hydroquinone, niacinamide, vitamin C, and kojic acid.  Of all of these, hydroquinone (if you are not pregnant) and glycolic acid are probably the best to start with.All the best,   Dr. Clark
