Are hair loss concealers made out of "nano-fibers" like "Toppik" safe to use?

I've been trying to research on whether or not there would be side effects to using hair loss concealers like Toppik that contain ammonium chloride and silica. Could inhaling some of these fibers, as I don't think there's a way to prevent inhaling a small amount with each application, cause respiratory problems in the long term?

Derm fibers are safe to use per and post hair transplant.  They are concealers and do not cause respiratory problems

The two  important risks with using Toppik are allergic reactions to the ingredients and potential infection. If one does not wash out the product daily it is possible to develop an infection .  Theoretically, lung sequelae are a potential, yet none have been reported.Good luck.Jeff Rapaport MD FAADRealself All-star

It’s rare for users of these fibers to inhale them. However, if you think you might inhale some when you apply them, you should speak to your dermatologist (or the manufacturer) about proper application technique. An individual should not use these products if they feel their method of application leads to any amount of fibers entering the respiratory system.

Derm fibers like Toppik are safe to use and an excellent way to conceal bald and thin spots of hair.

nanofibers are safe to you even after a hair transplant as long as there is no scabbing or crusting in your recipient area
