Drinking a week after smartlipo?

SmartLipo™, or laser lipolysis, is a more advanced and modern way of
performing liposuction, where a laser is used to liquefy the fat and coagulate
the blood vessels, leading to a more gentle procedure. In addition, the heat generated from the
laser will result in enhanced contraction.
Postoperatively, after any liposuction procedure, a temporary use of
compression garmenting and reasonable physical activity is encouraged.Modest drinking should not compromise the
postoperative outcome; however, excessive drinking will lead to food shifts and
may result in more swelling and irregularity.
Modest consumption of alcohol and postoperative exercise is usually
encouraged and communication with your SmartLipo™ surgeon as to the specific postoperative care instructions
would be encouraged.
