Bumps on the side of nose - how to permanently remove them? (photo)

I have this black bump on the side of my nose since I was a child. I want to have to Permanently removed. My questions are 1) What is the surgery I should be looking at? ( is it safe?) 2) what is the nominal cost for it?( hundred, thousands?) Thank you for the help.

From the photograph this appears to be a mole (nevus).  If it is attempted to take this off very superficially, it will not remove the underlying pigment cells so the spot will still be there.  It would need to be excised and then sutured (stitched).  The procedure would probably cost about $250-300 plus the pathologist feel to examine the tissue. The procedure is done with a local anesthetic so is safe but it will leave a small scar.
