Will breast reduction lumpiness even out? (Photo)

Question

I am 2.5 weeks post-op of an OHIP-covered breast reduction. My nurse removed about 80% of my staples (vertical incision and under breast) last Saturday and the rest (around the nipples) on Monday. I’m concerned that my right breast looks like it has a strange indentation under the nipple and looks lumpy compared to my left breast. Will this even out? Should I be concerned? I sent pics to my dr and he seems to say it’s healing fine, but I’m feeling very concerned.

Thank you for your questionYour healing seems to be good from what I can see on the picture. The technique your surgeon use (Vertical) need more time to settle but usually gives great results! Be patient, the final results after breast reduction surgery can take as long as 6 months. Please follow up with your surgeon if you are concern, but everything seems great!Best Wishes
