I am planning on having a series of 6 microneedling sessions to improve my rolling and boxcar acne scars. I have done a lot of research on this, and I came across a very exciting article in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery. It says that the plastic surgeon administering the treatment performed microneedling and directly followed it with .05% tretinoin, but washed it off after 30 minutes. Is that safe to do?

Answer: Can I use Tazorac .05% directly after a micro needling session?
Microneedling is very safe in pregnancy. As far as using stem cells you should feel confident only if they are using your own stem cells without adding any chemical to them.
Good luck.
Thanks for your question. The skin that falls off will have no effect on your final result. It is a natural part of your skin rejuvenation. I would recommend you continue the post-procedure skin care regimen you were given by your treatment provider. Warm regards.
