Dr. Bond is amazing!!! As a first time plastic surgery patient she provided a warm and friendly experience throughout my Tummy Tuck journey. Her Bedside manners are supreme! She has so much knowledge and expertise; from my surgery procedure to post op care. Her staff also creates a very inviting atmosphere from the minute I walk in until I leave. Book with Dr. Bond!
Dr. Bond and her staff are amazing! Every question was addressed with every detail. I followed all of the pre and post surgery instructions and it made my recovery and healing a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Bond.
Dr. Bond is a Very skilled doctor! I am extremely happy with my results. Very kind and caring staff, shout out to Angela the nurse she’s awesome! All around a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommended!
Excellent! I went for chin Smartlipo and it was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Bond made me feel comfortable and relaxed. My follow-up confirmed I was healing well with minimal swelling and no irritation. I am very happy with the result as I was upset with my chin for years. Great surgeon and team!
I got my tummy tuck done with Dr Bond and I'm truly happy with it. In fact, I wasn't expecting such a difference. Dr. Bond was very attentive and very patiently answered all my concerns. Also she kept checking via phone when i was in the hospital. The hospital staff was great too. I don't remember when was the last time I wore jeans. I would cover myself with loose long tees and yoga pants . Finally now I have the confidence to wear clothes that are actually my size and not large to cover my tummy. And Dr. Bond helped me achieve it. Now it is my job to maintain this body and eat healthy. One can't leave everything to the doctor and have unrealistic expectations. Losing the fat on my tummy has motivated me to eat healthy and I'm very happy to say I've lost a lot of weight. Also, the office staff is AWESOME!!!
After years of being mistaken for being pregnant, I had finally had enough! I went to see Dr. Bond about getting a BBL because I thought that I could take my belly fat and put it on my butt. She told me that I didn't really have a lot of belly fat and that my stomach protrusion was due to diastasis recti. I ultimately scheduled to get a diastasis recti repair, lipo, and tummy tuck! I go in on 7/1! Updated on 12 Jun 2019: I took these on 6/1/19. I also started keto that day and should be a little smaller than that by the time of my surgery on 7/1. I didn't take any bare skin pics, but the Dr did and if she shares them with me, then I will post those. I'm so excited that my time has finally come after 19 years! Updated on 13 Jun 2019: Just read a bunch of testimonials and they have helped me sooo much to get mentally prepared! I reserved my lift recliner at rent a center, they'll deliver on the 28th! I also got all my pre-op documents today, so I'm feeling like it's really real now! The thought of the pain has me a little bit nervous but I will survive Updated on 16 Jun 2019: So I thought long and hard about whether I wanted to lose a lil weight before surgery. I have back fat and I'm top heavy so I figured I'd try to get some of that off so those parts will better match my soon to be flat tummy (the thought of it excites me so!!!) I was a little reluctant because I'm small on the bottom and didn't want to lose what I already had. I decided I would do keto to lose the fat but do squats to replace the lost fat with muscle. So I started on 6/1 and it's working. I don't have a scale so I don't know how much I weigh now, but I'm getting comments from colleagues telling me that I'm slimming down and my clothes are fitting looser!! I'm going to keep doing it for the rest of the month and then surgery is the next day. I won't be able to do squats again for a while, but I will still cut back on carbs and drink my apple cider vinegar drink as well as my bullet proof coffee daily. Updated on 18 Jun 2019: Just completed my blood work. I can't believe that I have less than 2 weeks before I'm in the flat side!!! I did my surgery shopping and even got a cane. YouTube has been a great resource for figuring out what I need! Updated on 21 Jun 2019: So it's been 21 days since I began keto and squats. I noticed in my body that I am smaller, but now I'm noticing in my face! I only have 9 more days of doing it so we'll see what I look like this time next week! Today is my last double digit pre op day! I'm so excited and nervous. I'm only nervous about the pain, but I planned to stay drugged lol I'm not going to miss a single dose that first week! I have a decent tolerance but I'm not playing games with it. I've never had surgery before so this is all new territory! To be continued... Updated on 26 Jun 2019: I can't believe that I'm less than one week away from having my diastasis recti repaired!! This has been a long time coming and I am so excited and ready! Because the hernia was discovered late, I had to get a referral so that insurance covers that part of the procedure! I was definitely cutting it down to the wire but I was able to get it done with 2 days to spare! I also picked up my pain meds and antibiotics prescriptions!!! I definitely plan to take the pain meds like clockwork for the first week minimum! I have zero interest in feeling what my body is going through lol The keto is still going well! I'm going to do a modified version after this month to keep the carbs lower but not as low as this month. I don't want to lose more weight, but I don't want to gain any either. Updated on 1 Jul 2019: I started a post last night but fell asleep and lost everything lol. So I'm here at the hospital in the day surgery waiting room, I am staying over night though. My 2 young adult children are going to take care of me at home, but I'm glad that I'll have hospital staff for the first 24 hours. Last night I got my room together (for the most part). I even put my lift recliner in position so that I can sit down while practically standing. I also put all my post-op care items on the desk so I won't have to rummage around for whatever I need in the moment. I got about 3 hours of sleep, I feel tired in the background but not on the outside, if that makes sense, but I can't wait to sleep lol I will upload post-op pics as soon as I can. See you all on the flat side!!! Updated on 3 Jul 2019: I haven't seen my stomach yet because I'm all bound up, but the nurses kept commenting on the how flat it was. I'm so excited to see it but I'm patient! I'm guessing that I don't have to do anything until my post op appointment next week. As far as pain goes, I haven't experienced much. On day one I asked for meds twice and on day 2 I asked for meds once. I'm home now and am taking oxycodone every 6 hours and it's been fine. The only time when things were really tough was when I had to get out of the bed to go to the bathroom. THAT was hard. But now that I'm home and am in the lift recliner and everything is really good. I absolutely recommend renting a lift recliner for a month. I am able to walk to the bathroom by myself, with a cane. I'm thankful that this experience is way better than I expected it to be Updated on 4 Jul 2019: I am still completely bound up, but I have this pic which is probably the best before that I have. You can see how lose my muscles and skin are. I go for my first post-op appointment on Tuesday, if I'm allowed to take pics then, I will share. I have no idea what I'm looking like under this binder, but my daughter keeps saying she can tell the difference! So today was my first day of getting gassy and it isn't painful, but it's uncomfortable. This may be a little tmi, but I want to share the tip anyway if it'll help decrease someone's suffering. So because the muscles are too weak to really push the gas out, when I feel that the gas has moved down, I stand up and spread my booty cheeks a part and let the gas come out. I know, it's crazy, rofl, but it does work and it provides relief. Also sitting on the toilet helps because there is nothing blocking the rectum. Ik I said it before but I can't say it enough, get a lift recliner, it makes all the difference in the world! Getting up and down has not been a struggle whatsoever since I've been home. However, it was a struggle trying to get out the hospital bed, I think I shed a tear the very first time because I was afraid I was going to rip something. With the recliner, it practically stands you up. I also purchased a cane and that helped me to be independent immediately! I haven't been downstairs since the first night home, but I walk around upstairs. I even started walking around without the cane today! My appetite is still very small, but I am drinking my ACV lemon ginger mix as well as plain water. At first I was drinking the water directly from the bottle but I feel like that kicked off my gas, so now I'm using a straw. My skin gets itchy all over and I scratch as needed. In the ab area I just scratch the binder for psychological purposes lol I even scratched the chair arm and that helped lol I got some bath wipes from the hospital and those have been helpful for freshening up! I also recommend getting a lil tray for your lap. I didn't think about it until the last minute so I didn't have time to order an adult one online but my daughter found this child one at Michael's while I was in the hospital, and it turned out to be perfect! It can hold a cup as well as notebooks, phones, remotes, you name it. I write, so in addition to using it for eating, I use it for writing too! In my opinion, the tray is a must! As far as pain goes, I haven't experienced any. I take oxycodone every 6 hours like clock work and I will continue to do so until I run out! So I don't know how painful things would be without the meds but I don't plan to find out! I take the antibiotics at the same time (except for the middle of the night dose because I only do them 3 times a day) I also empty my drains during those same 3 times a day and let my kids record the numbers so they can feel like helpers. I'm down to about 10 cc total but the morning one may be more because it collects over night. My neck felt a little stiff this morning, even felt like a nerve was pinched for a bit, but it's fine now. I spend a lot of time holding my phone and that probably contributes. Other than that, I feel really really great and I still can't believe that it really happened! I'm excited to see what Dr. Bond will say on Tuesday! To be continued... Updated on 17 Jul 2019: Just had my 2 weeks post op appointment yesterday. Everything went well, Dr said I'm healing well. She took the tape off my incision now that it's closed and said that I can begin treating the scar. I have bio oil which I've been using on my stretch marks for a week so I'm going to use that. I also have this scar gel from the dollar tree that works really well, so I'm going to use those and see how they work. Dr said Mederma and scar away work really well so I will consider that if I'm not seeing progress. Dr also said that I need to be still, I got the green light to drive and move around last week and I did too much lol So I'm kind of going back to taking it easy like I did week one. I'm supposed to be taking it easy all month, really all summer since I'm a teacher but I'm a busy body and was too busy during week two which has caused a lot of swelling. They also told me to start doing a lot of massaging because I have some areas that are hard. They said lymphatic drainage massage is optional. I think I am going to purchase this lymphatic flush homeopathic liquid and use that, it's called Lymph Stim. I did come home and give myself a really good massage, I'm going to try to do that every morning and evening. I tried to lay in the bed and was stuck for 2 hours, lol so I'm still using the recliner. At first I thought I may have rented it for too long but a month was a good choice. I'm going to try tumeric tea today and get another pineapple to help with the swelling. I'm also going to leave the fast food and coffee alone. I don't have a large appetite but I'm going to try to do better because the swelling is no fun and I want to see what I look like without the swelling lol I finally got my faja yesterday and I love the way it cinches me in the waistline. I was 30.5 inches and super excited about that! But the swelling was so bad, I'm just going to go back to my binder today, even though it leaves marks too when I'm all swollen. I do plan to do some waist training while I'm so pliable and see what kind of hour glass shape I can achieve, but it will be in a healthy, safe manner. Updated on 25 Jul 2019: I had my 3 weeks post op appointment 2 days ago and things are progressing well! My swelling is not as crazy as it was, but of course, I'm still swollen. I'm still using the scar gel on my scar and bio oil in my scar and my whole belly and arnica gel on my whole belly for swelling. Last week I did a lot of pineapple and turmeric tea, but I haven't done as much this week. I ordered another faja that I love, it compresses very well and it is strapless so I can wear it with my tank tops and it is panty style with snaps so I don't have to deal with my legs being compressed nor struggling to go to the bathroom lol I also got a J sculpt waist trainer belt and I'm really loving that too! It really compresses and pulls me in tight and I also don't have to deal with straps or panties, so with the 3 garments I have, I feel I am good to go and I'm looking forward to my body getting more hourglass like as time goes by!! My recliner was picked up yesterday and I definitely felt a little sad because it's been a part of my journey since I came home from surgery, but I have a brand new bed that I'm in love with, so it's all good! I have been a little busy this week with a few meetings but I stayed seated the whole time. Right now I am in nature, just sitting on a bench in the woods looking at a lake and enjoying the animals and insects lol no meetings or anything else today, just rest and relaxation. Updated on 2 Aug 2019: I made 1 month post op yesterday! Definitely feeling better, but still taking it easy as much as possible! I don't go back to see the doctor until the 20th. My swelling is continuing to go down, but still present of course. I usually wear the J sculpt waist trainer during the day and one of the fajas at night. I think the J sculpt is helping to reduce the swelling a lot because it produces a lot of sweat and my stomach seems to look smaller every time I take it off. I haven't done any tape measurements this week though, so I'm not 100% sure. In these pics you can see that there is still a lot of swelling around the incision area (above and below) as well as the belly button area. I didn't notice that my drain scars were indented until I took the pic. I'm still using the Dr. Sheffields scar gel and Bio Oil as well as the arnica gel. I also put neosporin on the area of my scar that is still pink. I'm going to start putting the scar gel on the drain scars and lipo incision scars because I was only really focused on the long scar but I want them all to fade away, sooner than later.
Wow, I saw Dr. Bond and her staff yesterday. What a great experience. She definitely took her time and examined me the CORRECT way, sitting not standing. Her staff is amazing, shout out to my girl Judiann, she definitely has patience. Lol. I can't wait until my surgery next month.
She was wonderful and so was her entire staff. I booked with another facility before I came to her only because I wanted to be closer to home but she was who I wanted to go to first. Anyway long story short... they got my money and weren't returning my calls and they kept postponing my surgery. As soon as I met with Dr Bond it wasn't two weeks later that I had my surgery and I am only one week postop and I love my results. I can't wait to get my tummy tuck with her. Updated on 9 Jul 2019: I'm exactly three months postop and I just want to say.... Thank you so much Dr. Bond!!! You are definitely a miracle worker. You hear all these horror stories and it's so scary when you truly want something and you are afraid to get it out of fear. Dr. Bond puts all your fear to rest with her calm and gentle persona. Once she walks in the room you just feel completely at ease. She just has a certain aura about her. You just know that you'll be safe and she knows what she's doing and she's been doing it for decades so she knows how to work her magic. I've been through so much in my life with terrible Doctors and lost a lot because of it but Dr. Bond was a gift from heaven. She and her entire staff and the hospital that she's affiliated with were amazing. Thank you so much Dr. Bond. I would never go to any other Doctor but you. Your work is amazing and you also try to work with your patients on pricing. I absolutely you guys. If you want someone that's fair with cost and an amazing Doctor that has had decades of experience.... look no further than Dr. Bond. She doesn't just work on you like it's all about money either, she actually cares. She calls after surgery to see how you're feeling. There is just so much to say but I'm gonna leave by saying she is remarkable, amazing and she doesn't waste your time. Oh and her work is amazing. Thanks again!!!!
I live in Orlando and about 7 years ago, I consider a BBL but never did any real research until recently, I began this journey at I am 5’0 and 154lbs. I’m a natural breast size 36-FFF with no children. I had Y-en-Roux Gastric By-pass in 2006. As of today, am 2-weeks post op and only now have had an opportunity to document my journey. So, I will get straight to the heart of the story. As a New Year Resolution, I began in January 2017 an effort to re-shape my body by hiring a several personal trainers to provide the work-outs, tools, nutrition, and maintenance. While I did see some minor results, it was my apparent my business travel schedule impacted my diet and availability to train consistently. In August 2017, with the recommendation from my guy, I began to contemplate having a Brazilian Butt Lift – (Liposuction and Fat Graphing). Having his support willingness to finance made the decision a no-brainer. Not to mention, my Total Cost documented is comprised of ALL documented (receipts for food, recovery supplies, services, and miscellaneous expenses associated with surgery. I typically have a demanding international business travel schedule and I hope you find my no-nonsense approach to surgery readiness and recovery helpful. I decided to have the surgery performed in near my corporate offices in New York and Philadelphia. I found a great doctor in Montclair, NJ and prepared for recovery at my apartment in Center City. In the interim she prepared me a take home package of bandages, chucks, adult pampers, gauze and padding. o My sister who was my ride and escort was allowed to join me; we called the doctor’s office for information on the successful surgery as she missed the actual physicians post op call. o Bring your own compression stockings / socks to wear home after surgery. Vim & Vigor have a great variety and colorful selection. Have the nurse put them on for you. The will help with circulation, reduce swelling in the legs and minimize edema (if applicable). o I went to restroom with the help of the nurse. She gave me 6-pilows to ensure I had support when avoiding laying on my buttocks. I took my prescribed pain killers for the 1.5-hour ride home. Then I glammed up and looked like a million bucks as I exited the hospital in a wheel chair and walked very gingerly to the SUV as I laid my aching body across the seat. o When I arrived home, I needed to pee and when I realized I could not take off my clothes on my own – I knew I had a situation on my hands as my glam outfit did not allow me the easiest access to the potty without sprinkling my entire master bath toilet area and boots. o My first full look of my binder and dressing at home. I looked like the Stay Puff Girl; I was wrapped from underneath my breast to my mid-thigh. I immediately notice that between my breast was burgundy/purple (bruised blood), and the binder end tab was digging in to my skin. I applied ArniCARE cream and put an absorbent pad as a cushion between the binder and my skin between by breast. (Note I did not remove this binder for the next 10-days) o I really had no appetite but tried to eat when I arrived home – I could not get much down except water – which I could not get enough of and 1 white castle cheeseburger, tried a piece of fried chicken -- no appetite. o ? Lesson Learned: • When picking a person to pick you up from the hospital and stay with you for the first 24 hours ensure the person is capable of driving independently, won’t mind assisting you in the bathroom, dressing and undressing, preparing your food and pick stuff up of the floor, (you’ll be groggy, dizzy, lethargic and dropping things) if necessary as you will be on anesthesia and pain medication not really available to chat coherently and have fragile mobility. Unfortunately, my sister told me she felt like she was being treated like a maid in my pristine home. I ended up standing for 3.5 hours that evening as she thought the surgery was elective and I should expect discomfort. Thus, I recommend setting expectations with family and friend who may be physically supporting you post op over the next two-weeks. Day 1 – The Morning After o My sister left a 7am to go work in NYC. I was so excited I could not wait to lock the door after her departure as my man took over caring for me. o I took a look at my binder and removed and/or changed any bandages that were hanging or soiled. I quickly assessed that the lower abdominal, buttocks and thigh bandages would need to be changed more often. So, he went on a store run to get Band-Aid Large Waterproof Self –Adhesive Large Pads and Nexcare 1.5 inch Tape which are the best, easy to apply and stay in place even in the curvy places. o I did not take PTO for recovery, I worked remotely from home attending conference calls and sending e-mails. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me – Nice Touch! o In the evening a friend stopped by for about an hour or so to assist me, with some minor things around the house without hesitation (grabbed a broom and took out the garbage) and keep me company and drop off some forgotten items like Prune juice and paper towels o We tried to put on my Design Veronique compression garment over the binder, however the swelling made it impossible. o This evening I began drinking prune juice to assist with softening my stool o The rest of the day I spent the day laying down and taking medication as well as trying to find my appetite. o Today’s Diet: 2 White Castle Cheeseburgers, 1 Pint of Miso Soup, ½ cup of Spicy Sashimi Tuna Salad and lots of water. Day 2 – Visitors and an Out Pouring of Support from Family and Friends o Waking up in the morning can be painful and I found that right arm is falling asleep during the night and awaking me. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me o Joined a couple of conference calls and spoke with business partners in Canada o By Noon my door was revolving from folks stopping by with greeting and gifts, no one hesitated to bring me necessary items such as ? Pick up prescription medication refills ? A Welby Extender Reacher with Jaws (I could not bend down or reach items on shelves) ? DulcoEase (stool softener) ? P EZ Female Silicone Portable Camp Outdoor Urination Device Purple Lightweight ? Ginger Ale ? My boyfriend brought in catered lunch from a local restaurant for my friends and family stopping by and I ensure there were cocktails and libations. ? I had a grocery delivery, my cousin unboxes, shelves and even seasoned the meats prior to freezing. ? I even got a 30-minute reprise from my compression sock – another cousin gave me a foot massage and then put the socks pack on. o Today’s Diet: No appetite, picked over left overs and drank lots of water. o I notice the bruising and fluid moved to my pelvic and thigh areas o By 6p and I all 9 visitors gone I was completely exhausted and took two of my prescribed pain killers (Oxycodone) and went to bed. Day 3 – On My Own o More of the same from a post-surgery maintenance and pain management routine. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me. o Worked remotely from home, you would be surprised how much you can accomplish laying on your tummy with a PC at your fingertips. I just could not see taking off working when I am not leaving the country or actually taking a vacation. o No Company or Guest today (thought I would never say it – but I need a break); Only my Man keeping a watchful eye out to address my immediate needs. o Checked my bandages o Yesterday I stood and walked around the house for more than 4-hours; the drawback, there was noticeable swelling in my legs today so I did not remove my compression socks. o Increased my application of ArniCARE especially around the upper abdominals, pelvic and thigh areas. o Moisturized and kept hydrated o Today’s Diet: I indulged in a Gouda Bacon Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries, and more water. Day 4 – Rest & Relaxation o Ditto: Continued post-surgery maintenance and pain management daily routine. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me. o Typically, this was a repeat of previous day. o Finally, today was my first bowel moment since the surgery – I did it! o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero, Mediterranean Salmon and Couscous salad and lots of water and ginger ale Day 5 – More R&R o Three times is a CHARM: More of the same; post-surgery maintenance and pain management daily routine. o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero in anticipation for Butcher & Singer Lump Crab Cocktail and Delmonico Steak (medium rare) Oscar: Jumbo lump crab, asparagus, and béarnaise for two. Damn, I love a recovery dinner date! Day 6 – Took A Chance o I went across the street from my apt to my office to read a contract, stayed 1.5hours. Standing and kneeling. When I returned home, I was whipped and looked like death warmed over. o Two of my girlfriend stopped by and brought me coke zero, prune juice and gummy bears. o Rats! Today I notice the first signs of a yeast infection – from the antibiotics -- DAMN! o Spent the rest of the day in bed. o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero, prepared and cooked homemade chicken soup and drank lots of water. Day 7 – Grown Folks Christmas o Post-surgery maintenance and pain management daily routine. o Relaxed and limited my phone & texting activities o Put on my Eagles gear over my big assed binder o Celebrated a catered evening of football and festivities with a small group (12) family and friends. Day 8 – Preparation o Post-surgery maintenance and pain management daily routine. o Still taking things slowly. Getting in as many naps as I can throughout the day. o Prepared for my road trip to the doctor’s office tomorrow. ? I packed a back pack with the following: • With my new Design Veronique, post-surgery garment • Water • Pain Medication • Moisturizer • Boppy Pillow • And basic travel essentials you never leave home without. Day 9 – Physician Follow-Up o This was my first day getting dressed since the morning of the surgery. o I noticed peeling in on buttocks, inflaming the itching – I moisturized heavily. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me. o As well as the first day -- I actually saw a glimpse of my new figure. My hips were perfectly symmetrical and curvaceous. o I met with Dr. Bond we discussed the surgery she was able to perform 360 Liposuction on my torso (Upper, Mid, Lower Abs, Upper Back, Flanks, Waist, Pubic, Area) removing 3800cc of fat. ? 1000cc in each Buttock ? 400cc on each Side • I love the early results and new shape. o In Dr. Sheila Bond’s office, the binder was removed revealing the early stages of development of my new shape. ? Flat Tummy (with visible bruising and noticeable retention of fluid in my lower abdominals, and pelvic area) I could see the magazine taper of my new upper, mid and lower abdomen – it is beautiful and I am not even ½ way through recovery. o Once again, I attempted to put on my post-surgery garment again and was unable to do so alone. After contemplating getting this garment on I realized that I would not be able to moisturize, and my itching is intense and the dryness of this brutal December I need immediate access to my entire torso, butt, and Va-jay-jay. (I will save this garment for back to work). o I was my binder, towels, wash cloths and robes in antiseptic soap and bleach, while it was not soiled in blood or fluid it was dingy. o Today’s Diet: 6-White Castle Cheese Burgers, Lots of Water. Day 10- Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) - Massage o After my first session, which was gentle, relaxing and invigorating I experienced the most restful afternoon and 5-hour uninterrupted (nap) sleep. o Dr. Sheila A Bond office nurse Madeline called to check in on me. o Today I also stopped taking my pain medication. o I experience my first therapeutic LDT massage from Ula Katsoulis of Stillpoint Holistic Studio in Center City – it was very relaxing and invigoration – not to mention I felt so much better I walked home 10 block in 8 -degree weather. o Ula also changed my diet to help accelerate my recovery - I will continue a high-protein diet ? No red meat and fried foods. Eat brown rice, steamed Chicken and Fish and limit heavy sauces, cream and limit alcohol. ? Hydrate: • Increase water consumption (trying to drink half my weight in water – OK!) • Moisturize your every part of your body; the parts that are itchy and dry several times a day Day 11 – Its NYE weekend – Let It GO! o I’m still struggling to find the perfect sleeping position. Just being conscience not to sleep on the graph o I pooped three times today which is a record for me – Yeh! o Completed my New Year’s Resolutions (list) o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero High-Protein Yogurt, 1-Cup Brown Rice, 1 Cup Ginger Chicken (no sauce), ½ Cup Breyer’s Butter Almond Ice Cream and lots of Water Day 12 – Hydration & Conditioner o As I am recovering in apartment in Center City Philadelphia, PA (it has been below 19 degrees for the last 4-days and alas this morning SNOWING!); thus, today I’m focused on my conditioning and hydration of my entire body inside and from the time I awake out beginning with: ? Antiseptic Shower / Washing immediately followed by application of the emollients above to all areas of my body (taking time and layer application around any problem areas – bruising, inflammation, pain. ? I also use my Michael Todd Sonic Care Massage Head for a pulsating massage of the emollients around my mid/lower abdominals as well as the pubic area. This made a world of difference 2-hour later I could feel the benefits – diminished soreness and elevation of pain points. ? Completed my own Michael Todd Sonic Care Damascus Moisturizing + Anti-Aging Facial 5-steps ? It is important to not regardless of the temperature outside it is important to ensure the room you are sleeping in during your recovery is cool to cold you can always cover up. However, this will eliminate perspiration and development of bacteria under the binder on your skin. o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero High-Protein Yogurt, ½ -Cup Brown Rice, 2 Cups Lobster Meat & Chicken with vegetable and white wine sauce ½ Cup Breyer’s Butter lots of Water and Coke Zero Day 13 – New Year Eve o I’m so excited for the new year it was time show off my new two-week figure to party guests this evening, I took extra care in post-op daily maintenance routine. o At last! I worked on my technique and I got on my Design Veronique #1651-B Non-Zippered Mid –Thing Molded Buttocks High Back Girdle by myself and threw that damn binder away (LOL, I purchased a new one on Amazon it will be delivered on Tuesday). o My friend came over at 7p to setup now it is time to get my party on! Day 14 – Happy New Year! o Started the day with couple’s personal masseuse massage o Today I realized that I would need to go shopping. None of my suit pants or jeans fit. o I actually slept most of the afternoon away. o Today’s Diet: Oikos Triple Zero High-Protein Yogurt, ½ -Cup Brown Rice, 2 Cups Chicken and Snow Pea Pods with vegetable and white wine sauce and lots of Water Day 15 – Wash, Rinse, Repeat I will continue to follow the best practices I have outline above for recovery, maintenance, and dieting. My 3rd LDT session is scheduled for later today. I will admit, I still have trouble getting a comfortable sleep. I did not come home with a drain, thus the slow release of the fluid in my body is uncomfortable and the pain of that is typically a 3 but when turning change positions quickly can escalate to a 10. I still have bruising in the area where the liposuction was performed – this is understandable as this area was covered by the binder for first 10-days and I have only been treating the area for less than a week. I imagine base on my recovery progression the discoloration will clear up by the end of this week. I make it a point not to sweat common sense issues. I was asked several times over the last two weeks did I experience regret. The answer is NO! Feel free to google and research any procedures, terminology or practices you are unfamiliar with in my post. Later this week will be the first time I see my corporate colleagues, business partners, and client in an office environment. I have had a standing/sit desk install in my office. My best advice is spare no expense on your recovery. Make it as easy, enjoyable, and a positive experience I have intentionally, omitted photos in my binder, bruising, or dis-clothed. My next physician follow-up visit January 31st, 2018. Stay tuned…. Updated on 3 Jan 2018: 15-days Post Op -- Early Results Updated on 2 Feb 2018: While I still have week ahead of me before I see the final results, I have to tell you I love my shape and Big BOOTY! My recovery is going very well. After getting in a solid three weeks of R&R after my surgery with NO sitting and low activity -- I resumed my normal day to day work activities and international business travel (I left my first The Original BBL Pillow on the airplane after being delayed for 5-hours on the tarmac. So while working in Canada, I used a clean hotel towel I rolled up and wrapped in plastic and sat on that during a week or daily meetings for the rest of the week.) With that said, my man loves my new shape and it has created a tinge of insecurity within him; Nevertheless he is the only one for me. Now, while I have always received daily looks from gentlemen (looks are OK, I don't take casual comments or touching positively) However, I can say, since the surgery the my male attention meter is up 100%; the attention is nice confirmation Dr. Bond services were worth every penny. I have noticed my experience has been nothing like the average journey described on Real Self for BBL, Fat Transfer and 360-PAL (Power-Assisted Liposuction). I had no drain, bleeding, leakage, seromas, and/or etc. I never used the CHUX (gifted a box of 100 to a friend with a new baby), or alcohol pads. Thus, I spent hours looking at thousands of photos on this site that were not a good representation of my experience. Over the last 3-weeks:I have stuck to my skin maintenance game described in my last post and a well-rounded diet. I wore my stage 1 garment for 1-month, washing it every other day and the elasticity in the torso and body held up even with the insertion of the Fajas Liposuction Ab Board + Lumbar Molder BBL + 2 Lateral Protectors Post Op Care . The lumber Molder is impossible to use. The Ab Board is great but should not be used when flying unless you want to be stripped searched by TSA or Customs. I find the lateral protectors to be the most comfortable. " Week 3 I continued lymphatic Drainage Therapy and besides the maintenance activities noted above, this week due to a combination of the antibiotic and cleansing my skin and with antiseptic wash (over use) several times a day I fought the worst yeast infection. It took three doses of Diflucan until it was all cleared up. " Week 4: I purchased a new The Original BBL Pillow. Right at this time PAL nerve pain kicked in and it was uncomfortable to say the least. Sometimes making it impossible to sleep especially when traveling on business. There was not enough Arnica cream, I could apply to appease the onslaught of nerve pain. I tried Vodka and Ibuprofen -- that worked for a maximum of 4-hours. The only thing that made me feel better was being massaged by my man before engaging in copulation to release serotonin. " Week 5: Was a repeat of the previous week (showering, skin care maintenance, wearing my garment / inserting Fajas boards, utilization of my Boppy Pillow trying to manage the PAL nerve pain with OTC medication) while traveling work. I will admit I was exhausted during the weekends and sitting on the Boppy Pillow for hours can be uncomfortable. I have felt some insecurity from my boyfriend, he cannot stop looking at my butt. He is now concerned with how much everyone else is looking at my booty. LOL. I assured him he has nothing to worry about. " Week 6: I'm feeling and looking great. Excited about my 2nd follow-up visit with my doctor this week. I notice the left cheek was slight larger than the right. I am ready to be cleared to hit the gym and exercise. What can we do about the PAL never pain? And so many other of questions I did not think were appropriate for this website as she is familiar with my body and health history - I prefer to go to the SOURCE and Dr. Bond is so easy to talk to and never rushes me out of her office. I switched into my new Design Veronique 2nd-stage Molded Buttocks Front Zippered High-Back Girdle. During my meeting with Dr. Bond. She confirmed my recovery on track and progressing well: " I still have significant swelling on the left side. " Bruising of my mid-section has cleared up. " My back and buttocks have no bruising or noticeable signs of the surgery. " My torso is experiencing PAL nerve pain for which steroid stat does has be prescribed to reduce inflammation. " My weight is exactly what it was the day of my surgery and down 10lbs. from my previous follow-up visit. " My waist and hips are both down 1.5 inches from 1st follow-up visit a month ago. " I was cleared for a low intensity workout with my garment on (no sweating, as it will be detrimental to my final results and kill fat cells) " Also, I could put the Boppy Pillow away, while I did sit on it during the ride home. I left it in the CAR parked in the garage ???? " We noticed that I did have a dark line bruise form the edge of the foam padding under the original surgical binder. I am allergic to Hydroquinone, so my only hope is cocoa butter and Mederma dry oil will aid in lightening this bruise quickly. " In the next two weeks I will purchase and new garment one side smaller as the swelling subsides, and with the loss of additional fluids / water retention. " I will use the next couple of week to also focus and diminishing tiny scars from the cannula. " My doctor will take after photos during my next follow-up in 2-months. Wrapping up with good news! Wow three weeks ago, none of suit pants and jeans fit they all stop mid-thigh due to swelling and water retention . Today, I was able to get my Levi's and dress pants on pass my thighs, over my big butt and closed around hips. Time to implement a salad and lean protein diet and I will still give it another 2 weeks before I make my debut. I will also had some photos of my favorite products. Stay tuned for photos. Go EAGLES (just for this Super Bowl 52)! Updated on 19 Mar 2018: My recovery is going well. I continue to follow a maintenance plan for skin care and scar treatment. I have been traveling for the last two months and feeling great! My shape is much improved and I wore jeans for the first time since the surgery. I was so excited that I did not have to by new cloths – my Levi’s fit! They were snug, snatched, and I could eat and still be comfortable but my booty popped! I am still wearing a compression garment and taking Aleve twice a day because the “nerve terrors” persists in my back were liposuction was done on back and flanks. Regardless, of the comfort and price tag of my Design Veronique couture – seeing me alternate between garment daily is driving my man crazy – he calls it a “Monkey Suit”! I will admit while the 2nd stage garment with zipper was easier to get on and off the integrity of the garment did not hold up as well as the 1st stage garment under the same wearing conditions. There was fraying in the inner thigh area. Nevertheless, I still recommend this garment brand although the online ordering experience is not customer friendly – you will have to call to complete your order even after creating a profile and I was never e-mailed my order information but did get next day delivery which arrived on time. While Dr. Bond has not cleared me for moderate gym activity, It is time to down size to a Large so I decided to go with Fajas Disenos DPrada for everyday wear. Cindy, the Medical Girdle Specialist, is a pleasure to work with and follows up promptly on all inquiries. • Short Bust-Free Girdle with Buttocks Enhancement. By Fajas Dis. D'Prada - 11048 • Short Bust-Free Girdle with Buttocks Enhancement. By Fajas Dis. D'Prada - 11047-NG • Liposuction Compression Garments Post Surgery Girdle Full Body Shaper. By Fajas Dis. D'Prada - – 11022-CF These garments came with full instructions for WEAR and CARE (in English and Spanish) and the fabrics that have several components; exclusive products of our brand. A combination of botanical and marine extracts that release the active ingredients of Vitamin E, Cosmacol EMI, Seaweed and Ginkgo Biloba upon contact with the skin. Which is important as you skin is extremely dry after surgery. Scar Away is the best treatment to diminish surgery incision points. About week 10 (two weeks ago) I felt a small lump now firming up in near my left glute the size of a golf ball (this side from day 1 post op was most swollen and sensitive, which subsided prior to week three post op.). I immediately resumed lymphatic drainage massage treatment. The first day the lump seemed to be breaking apart, but the area was itchy. I had treatment again the next day and lump seem to be getting bigger. One week later I could not even sleep on that side – it was so painful. So I spent the weekend in discomfort while sitting and sleeping on that side. First thing this morning my lump was pulsating while walking or standing, I had lymphatic drainage treatment. Followed by a call to my surgeon, who has agreed to see me tomorrow afternoon. My self-diagnosis is Fat Necrosis or Seroma that will require aspiration and continued use of the garments I have purchased above.. Stay tune for my update. Updated on 20 Mar 2018: In the nature of transparency into my body transformation, I realized I omitted from my post yesterday a few key notes, 1. The foam padding under my binder left bruising a line down my abdomen. I am allergic to hydroquinone and Dr. Bonds office recommended NeoStrata. The Skin Brightener for the body which I have applied 2 daily for 6-weeks and it gentle and effective for my skin type. I continue to take Aleve for the Nerve Terrors and tingling from the Lypo performed on my back for fat transfer. I also purchased the Pigment Controller for the face which also works well. Depicted is the skin care maintenance products I am currently using in conjunction with Johnson + Johnson Baby Oil. Arnica cream is a part of my daily regimen. Also I have enclose photo’s I took this morning before heading to see my doctor in Jersey. My follow-up appointment was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 28th, 2018. I phoned Dr. Bond’s office yesterday to report my concerns regarding my lump. Which is 2 inches in diameter, frim and radiating heat outward. Not to mention sensitive to the touch. JudyAnn scheduled me an appoint for the very next day – 2 day! I arrived promptly from Philadelphia, PA – the reception area immediately became a full house. Since I was accommodated I had no issue with waiting. We’re looking forward to picking up White Castles CRAVE CASES w/Cheese for tonight’s March Madness activities. Finally after 1.5 hours in reception area, I was brought into an examination room and asked a couple of routine questions. Approximately, 20 minutes late Dr. Bond entered, measured my hips and told me she would prescribe an antibiotic for the lump on left glute as she identified it as an infection – a two week treatment of Clindamycin 4Xs a day was prescribed. I intend to keep Dr. Bond’s office abreast of my pain associated with the lump and hope the pain, soreness and lump diminished quickly. We talked about my interest in Brest Lift (that is a separate review). All that business aside my new follow-up for the BBL is in 3-months. Currently, there is no appointment scheduled. Updated on 25 Mar 2018: What a difference a day makes, (or a couple days) My recovery was going so well and flawlessly, As reading your stories have not only empowered me but enlighten me; I felt it my responsibility to share with the RealSelf BBL & Fat Transfer Community my current set back and primary concern at this stage in my recovery over the last 5-days. I am 13-weeks BBL Post Op and after my drive back in a Nor’easter from my 3rd follow-up visit with my doctor, after reporting a hard, painful lump. Since day one, my left side has been the most sensitive, painful to lay on as well as, the larger cheek after surgery, For the most part this lump was underneath the skin. I have had more than 15-Lymphatic Drainage Therapy Massages and I hope this lump would diminish instead I notice the lump growing after the last couple of treatments. About a week later it looked like an insect bite (red ,huge, hard and painful) she could not even touch it without me jumping off the table on March 19th, 2018, I knew something was wrong but my lymphatic massage therapist thought I only need additional massage sessions. That day, I told her I am calling to meet my doctor 1-week earlier. I took a photo of by backside the day of the appointment, On Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 my physician diagnosed me with an infection / fat necrosis and prescribed and antibiotic. I made an effort to take a photo every day since taking the medication. Finally, on the 5th day, March 24th, I noticed the lump raised to the surface of skin and an I could actually see the definition and the pain grew intensely. I applied a warm compress to the area as the pain was radiating to my hip / groin – after 15-minutes I noticed several little pimple like bumps and within hours of fall asleep with no bandage, no garment Later that morning my fitted sheet was wet with leakage from the lump. There was no smell, just a clear tear like liquid dripping from the skin. I got up at 5:55a and washed the wound with a specific solution for wound care. Patted it dry, applied Neosporin and covered with a waterproof bandage then put on my garment to hold the bandage in place. 7-hours later I check the bandage before venturing out to run errands. I discovered, a lotion like substance, that was a mixture of “peaches and cream” in color with no smell. So I know it is not infected, The skin on my left buttock is tearing way with the bandage. I have cleaned the affected area with and antiseptic skin cleanser and changed the bandage approximately every 4 hours. Today, I broke down and took some ibuprofen for the pain and swelling. To get a jump on things I e-mailed my doctor’s office to get more information on how I reduce the pain and treat the skin while the infection runs, it course. A I am also concern that this infection /sore may damaging to the final surgery results. Until I hear back from the doctor I am using PRID all-natural homeopathic drawing salve every time I change the bandage. Updated on 26 Mar 2018: We all are aware of the known are associated risks with BBL: https://www.realself.com/question/what-potential-risks-brazilian-butt-lift and hope we never have to call the doctor with an issue. This morning I phoned my PS office at 9:15am. While she was in the Operating Room, her nurse, Madeline contacted me at 10:04a to explain the next steps in the healing process after reviewing the photos I e-mailed yesterday. Based on the antibiotic treatment I began on Tuesday, she confirmed that I did not have an infection. I would take several weeks for the necrosis to drain. I would stay on the antibiotic treatment of clindamycin for 2 weeks. Keep my physical activities to a minimum and limit my business travel until the affect area is closed. To aid with the healing I will wear a waterproof bandage to keep the area dry. To protect the open wound from infection and I was prescribed Silvadene Topical this will all aid in healthy development of new skin. I decided to share, my experience and this set back after reading hundreds of posts and photos yesterday of my REALSELF .COM Sisters on this site that have no idea how this issue was treated. Hope this is helpful and I will continue to keep you all updated on my progress. Updated on 4 Apr 2018: One week later and I'm beginning round 2 of healing. My PS treatment of my fat necrosis is going very well. The pain has diminished and the damage to my skin is healing is going well and evening out as the last dead fat is draining not to mention the bandage is getting smaller. I have to say since my BBL the hair on my booty is growing like wildfire. As soon as I am completely healed - I'm waxing this ass Updated on 18 Apr 2018: What is the BEST BBL Post Surgery Garment?? - Let’s chat about my Fajas / Compression garment experience…. Design Veronique (price range $189.00) A month ago I hung up Design Veronique BBL Stage 2 garment for good. On a side note, while it looked great it did not hold up as well (the material never ripped, however, it did begin to fray and break down in the short area of the inner thighs) as the BBL Stage 1 garment. • The PROS: All of their garment are available in BLACK, easy to hand wash, dry quickly, and easy to pack. • The CONS: The seams around the enhance butt are visible beneath leggings. Not to mention after 1-month of daily use the buttocks area is stretched out. There is a center zipper, I had to use Fajas side and tummy boards. There garment do not support or aid in molding of the buttocks. I did see improvement in the abdominal and waist. Both garments the shoulder straps and hooks did cause digging, marks and redness. I cover the hooks in a make-shift padding using foam pad and Nexcare tape. You cannot order garments online even after creating an online profile and when you phone the customer service number the staff is not the friendliest. My overall rating for Design Veronique garment(s) : C+ or 3.5-Stars Fajas Diseno D'Prada (price range $104.00 – $130.00) 1. Short Bust-Free Girdle with Buttocks Enhancement. Bust-Free girdle with side zipper and internal clasps that allows for maximum adjustment. Enhances the hips and buttocks along with molding and size reduction to the thighs and abdomen. • PROS: Love the packing, handling, wear, and care instructions. Invisible under most clothing. The side hooks and zipper are the best. I recommended wearing the short with a dress or long skirt. Comfortable great molding and contouring around the tummy, lower back and buttocks. This is a 30 or 60 day garment. • CONS: Garment NOT available in black, after handwashing drying time can be up to 6-8 hours 1. Liposuction Compression Garments Post Surgery Girdle Full Body Shaper. Free-Bust girdle with side zipper closure and internal clasps allows for maximum adjustment and provides high compression to the abdominal region and thighs all throughout to the ankles. • PROS: Medicated Girdle with Surgical Control and Enhancements. Great under leggings and pants. Is available in BLACK. Prepare yourself this is as advertised a HIGH COMPRESSION GARMENT. • CONS: I am 5-feet and this full body garment does not go reach my ankles it is not even Capri length (I actually purchased the same garment 1 from Amazon sent it back and then purchase another from the Manufacture – the fit is short only reached the calves or Gaucho length.) Thin straps resulted in digging on my shoulders and near armpits, axilla or tank topper tissue (chub area). The straps often twisted during wear. The high compression was overwhelming on day one. Will attract lint from out garment be certain to use a rent roller between wears and prior to hand washing. My overall rating for Fajas Diseno D'Prada garment(s) : B or 4-Stars Updated on 18 Apr 2018: Well I am 4 months post Brazilian Butt Lift and my measurements 42-28-44. Currently I am still not cleared for working out, tossing my compression garment or losing weight. I have a burning desire get this core in engaged! It has been a month since I ended lymphatic drainage massage as directed by my PS. I have stopped taking the Aleve to control the nerve “terrors” zingers from liposuction; they have subsided. Today, I concluded my oral antibiotic treatment for my fat necrosis. The key to successful healing and maintaining the integrity of the skin and fat-graph is… keeping the wound dry, clean, medicated and changing the position (look for where you have the release of fluid on the pad you removed and ensure to cover that area) of the bandage twice daily. As your recovery goes well graduate to Hydrocolloid dressing to both heal and moisturize the skin in combination with the Silvadene antibiotic cream. These bandages are more expensive and can last to up 7-days, it is my experience to maintain good overall hygiene and wound care to change once every 12 hours with a fitted boy-short or compression garment covering. Not to mention, if you have a lot of downy hair like myself – you will not be able to reuse the bandage. I have noticed many folks on the website with who find themselves, bleeding through their bandages and/or displaying soiled garment… While this was not my experience, I can tell you my guy would freak out to see me in dirty or soiled garment. Thus my best recommendation during recovery is: Treat your recovery efforts as an investment. With much respect… Don’t be CHEAP, upgrade bandage (brand / type) and change frequently. This will eliminate bacteria and risk of infection. Wash stained garment immediately by hand wash and hang to air dry, followed by putting on your back up garment. I definitely recommend having at least two black garments for each stage… I would not recommend the White or Champagne for a stage 1 compression garment. I will admit gauze and tape are a less expensive alternative, however, my clothes are expensive and I don’t’ want blood and fluids ruining them. Saving the integrity of your skin and overall BBL and wardrobe investment is PRICELESS! When you look good… you feel good! With that said the wound area is still a little tender and the discomfort and bruising has drastically diminished from which the infection began (photos above). FYI: If you are directed to take any OTC (Over the Counter) medication that covered by FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and/or your insurance , ensure to ask your nurse/PS for a prescription. It will save you money on Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Benadryl, Stool Softener, and etc. for example. During this stage of recovery, I found it important to maintain a high protein diet, continue with scar treatment application all while continuing to rock my next stage garments (more info below). The garment, reduces swelling, compression aids in releasing fluid, but most importantly keeps the bandages in place over wounds or and scars. I had minimal scars from the BBL. I am actually treating old scars from my Roux-N-Y Gastric By Pass. My skin does not keloid I have minor scars on my abdomen from the laparoscopic surgery implements incisions, because I lost weight faster than the incision can heal. They are soft and slightly darker (almost like a pimple on brown skin) than my natural skin pigment and Scar Away has flattened them in conjunction with the NEWHITE lotion by Guinot which has lightened the scars in parallel. I must say It was alarming to me, when I received no response from on Real Self from the community of PS on the site after posting a question [13 weeks post BBL, what cream or ointment can I use to improve and/ or heal the skin after the infection heals?] This only instills to my decision to pick a surgeon in which you have trust and faith in – they should be able to address issues or revision without hesitation and to your satisfaction. With healing being a work in progress, I decided along with the support of PS it was time for MASTOPEXY! I desired to get the procedure done ASAP! It was important for me to ensure that T & A were the same age as I approach a monumental birthday this year. Not to mention, this was a perfect opportunity to for my top and bottom healing to align prior to beach season which always begins for me in August and runs through the New Year! Updated on 18 May 2018: I cannot believe it has been 5-months since my BBL and 360 Liposuction. We are loving my results and I am showing it off every chance I get. It is so natural and suitable for my corporate work-day moderate-conservative lifestyle. A woman’s gotta make that paper! Most all of my clothes still fit (no spandex – fitted; with spandex - a little give) in both dresses and jean. Most of all since I had my Breast Lift last month now all of my Brooks Brothers shirt now fit as well. I have to admit I have not invested many $$$$.$$ in shopping for new accentuating clothing as of yet. My dude and I have agreed at month 7 I will go on shopping spree just in time for the warmest months on the east coast. Nevertheless, I have purchased a few new articles. This week I while working in Montreal, Quebec, CA – I found the perfect jeans to accent my BBL and new shape photo above. With that said, I have not been cleared to workout as I am in the last week of fighting the fat necrosis on the left butt check. While it is barely noticeable at this time, and has healed nicely, I have six more days of antibiotics. I was really lucky that this infection did not impact the results of my shaping. Thus, I am still using the Silvadene topical antibiotic and wearing a Fajas long (with pants/jean) short (dresses and skirts) garment. Today, I began, using the skin brightener on the my buttocks and back of my thighs. On Monday, I will transitioning into my next stage garment Fajas Short Medium for the next 30-days. That will definitely be a tussle and add 45-minutes to my morning ritual at least the first time. It gets easier after 8-hours in a new garment. Stay tuned for the next episode. Updated on 18 May 2018: I'm very happy with my new curves! Updated on 18 Jun 2018: I definitely love my new shape. Can't believe it has been 6-months. Everything has settled nicely. The great news is all of my clothes fit. Don't get me wrong that did not stop me from purchasing lots of new garments. My PS has taken a leave of absence and has referred me to her colleague Plastic Surgeon Paul J. LoVerme, MD, FACS in NJ. I have some concerns as my fat necrosis is almost healed but not completely and now I have to get to know a new physician for my 6-months post-op. Stay tuned! Good luck to everyone considering body contouring. Updated on 18 Aug 2018: Hi Ladies, I know it has been a while since I have posted an update. I have been traveling for work for months and finally last week I had an opportunity to take a 10-day vacation in Martha's Vineyard. I won't lie, I walked around in bikini bottoms or boyshorts during the day -- everyday! At month 7- I thought I was close to being over treatment for fat necrosis. We'll the infection is gone as confirmed by my PS proxy and colleague Plastic Surgeon Paul J. LoVerme, MD, FACS. The good news it did not change the shape of my booty thus, I focused on recommended treatment of the minor discoloration of the skin [PRIM and Beaudreaux's Butt Paste (both are very messy) with a heat compress] and massage for the underlying remaining firmness. This is a slow process. However since it can easily be hidden by bikini bottom. It is par for the course for surgical experience. After planning + recovering from my BL and BBL w/360 Lipo I finally began working out again today for the first time in 10-months. I plan to meet with a nutritionist next to kick off a 60-day jump-start my preparation for 10-day conference / vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mx. Although,I am a solid size 8 -- I have a small frame and I would like to flattening my tummy and have to work on what I am putting in it in parallel with daily workouts. I looked realized I looked great in my bikini I can do better by putting in some mental discipline and physical work at this stage of the game.
She was professional and efficient! Answered my questions!! Office staff was great. She made great suggestions for me. I was happy! Referred me to massage therapist who is phenomenal! Isabelle in Roselle park!!!
I would need to see your pre -operative photos to be sure, but that extra skin may be where your natural breast originally started off. The natural crease of the breast that has been distorted by the large implant. This is a complex problem, with different options for solution. I would need to exam you and discuss all of the options. Best to find a plastic surgeon comfortable with breast augmentation revisions and complex breasts surgeries as unfortunately you problem is not an easy fix.
After losing 246lbs unfortunately skin in left behind which can only be removed with a tummy tuck. A Fluer de lis type of tummy tuck will reduce the skin excess of the upper abdomen if you are ok with that scar. You may also benefit from a body lift. This removes the excess skin in the back also. Start by seeing a board certified Plastic surgeon who performs a lot of tummy tuck. Find one that you feel comfortable with, both the doctor and the staff, as this is a major investment in time and money. Most offices provide care credit and other financing options.
SmartLipo, while it does have some ability to tighten skin, has the disadvantage of destroying the fat cells and rendering them useless for fat grafting. The arms are not a great source of usable fat; even if an arm appears large, most of the girth is due to stretched skin (batwing) and not a great amount of fat that will make a vast difference to the size of the buttocks. The best areas for maximum fat harvest in most women are the abdomen and flanks. Fat is also harvested from the lower back which will create a beautiful new line down to the new butt. If your abdominal area is stretched and "pouchy" from childbirth, liposuction alone will not fix the problem. If your ultimate goal is a flat, smooth belly and better body contours, you should combine the BBL with a Tummy Tuck (with or without the arms) and have one recovery period, rather than two.
The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a 3 hour surgery which is best done in a hospital for maximum sterile environment and safety. The Operating Room provides a completely sterile environment for the transfer of fat cells. General anesthesia is best for patient comfort. Some doctors perform this procedure in their office, but I don't feel that it's advisable. Hospital and anesthesia rates do vary regionally, and may seem expensive, but the level of security in knowing that your surgery is being done in the safest way possible is well worth paying.
A loss of 40 pounds will certainly cause some of your body parts to sag, but your heart and organs are surely healthier for the weight loss! Exercise will tone muscle, but it won't change the stretched and wrinkled skin. See a good Plastic Surgeon and discuss all your issues. Prioritize your needs and decide what procedures are most important to you. Cosmetic financing plans are available for you to pay off your surgery in anywhere from 6 months to 5 years. You've done the hard work; everything is fixable!
