Three weeks after tummy tuck and still cannot walk straight?

It's been more than three weeks since my full tummy tuck and I still have a lot of tension on my lower abdomen. Especially after sitting I'm bent over a lot. Should I try to stretch or leave it until it resolves by itself?

Most patients still have difficulty standing straight a few weeks into the post-operative period.   It is not a bad idea to try and stretch out as best you can, as long as you do things slowly.  Everyone heals differently, but usually by six weeks most patients are doing pretty well.  I hope this helps.

It is quite common after tummy tuck,
particularly with muscle repair, to have difficulty walking straight in the
weeks following surgery.
An exercise we find useful is to put your face
to the wall and put your hands on it and slowly walk your hands up the
wall.  
This helps you straighten out and relax the
muscles in the front of your tummy which can be causing tenderness.
Day by day you should be getting better but if you have any concerns it might be worth popping in to see your
plastic surgeon to let them assess your healing.
