Can threads provide any lift of upper lip?

I'm interested in a slight lip lift but worry about scar of a bullhorn and the invasiveness of a v-y lip lift and was wondering if threads used for delights can be used in the upper lip to provide a slight lift or if it doesn't work that way in that area
