Sclerotherapy is time consuming. The sclerosant solutions are expensive. It is expensive for a physician/surgeon to spend 30-45 minutes of their time to do such treatments. An average price is 700 dollars per session for a physician and 500 a session for a mid level practitioner under the guidance of a physician. Choose a board certified vein specialist, meaning with added certification in Venous and Lymphatic Medicine from the ABVLM. 

Before a cost for the treatment of varicose veins can be given, a full venous evaluation with a reflux ultrasound and exam by the doctor will need to be done.  The venous reflux ultrasound will show the status of the valves in the saphenous and accessory veins and this will determine the necessary treatment.  You may require one or more veins treated and you may also require sclerotherapy and/or removal of the varicose veins through micro incisions. I would say that an average cost per leg is somewhere between 2 to 4 thousand dollars.
