I have had surgery 2 weeks ago on my nose. The problem I had was difficulty when breathing through my nostrils. I believe the procedure was some form of septoplasy as incisions were made inside my nostil (left I think only). The procedure was done to help with my breathing but I was hoping it would improve the look of my nose mostly the difference in either nostril. I will leave pictures to show you what I mean.

The short answer is that Rhinoplasty to reshape the external nasal framework, is unlikely to result in further breathing improvement after a successful septoplasty and turbinate reduction. This is especially true in the absence of nasal valve collapse, which is otherwise a good indication for...
The sutures for open rhinoplasty are very fine. Even if a few open up, it will not cause any scarring as long as there is no separation of wound edges or infection. RegardsDr.J
