Preventing Re-tethering After a Scar Revision?

Question

Hi everyone, I am scheduled for a scar revision/excision soon for a tethered abdominal surgical scar. Do these types of scars typically re-tether to the underlying tissues? If so, what can be done to prevent this? I am worried once I return to the office a few days after surgery my posture at the computer will effect the healing process.

Scar tethering is a process of your bodies scar healing with scar tissue deeper inside your body and pulling it down.This tethering can be repaired with re excision and undermining occasionally.Prevention is difficult.
