TCA Peel Complications? (Photo)

Had 25% TCA peel on my legs to clear scars 6 weeks ago, my third peel in about 2 years. Now my skin is dry, cracked, uneven and won't stop peeling What could be happening? Is my skin still shedding from the peel or could this be permanent damage? Now matter how much I moisturise my skin is dry and sensitive. Contacted the provider and they said it's part of the healing process but this didn't happen with my previous peels. Down time was no more than 2 weeks and my skin didn't change like this.

When you get some discolorations after peeling the skin, the best combination for it to resolve is to exfoliate it with a light chemical peel such as jessners solution or 10% TCA every 1-2 weeks and also use the bleaching creams twice a day. They always resolve but do take time. Spray tans...

Hi Jen, I completely understand why you are wanting to find a way around the Vaseline/aquaphor step, but, absolutely not! Post-peel/laser induction of acne in acne-prone skin is common and should most definitely be avoided. . . However, using grape seed or jojoba oil is not the solution. ...

Redness from TCA peel - will this ever go away? (Photo)

Hello, the first endpoint for a TCA peel is redness you are able to continue another layer of the peel until frosting. The redness is normal for post peel reaction and should begin to subside in the next few days. Make sure you are hydrating and using SPF.
