Are you sure you are not tasting the prep or topical anesthetic on your tongue? Perhaps this was passed by your fingers touching your forehead. Otherwise I cannot see a reason why Botulinum Toxin (Dysport or Botox) would cause a funny taste in your mouth.
The most common side effects from botox are temporary eyelid or eyebrow drooping, headache, pain over injection site, incomplete effect. I have never heard of this occurring but I suspect it would be temporary. If it persists, you might want to call the company Allergan who makes botox and see if they have any other information for you.
I have never had a patient mention this nor read that this has been noted as a side effect. It may never happen again. Possibly if some of the botox were injected in a vessel a quick absorbtion might create some symptoms that are unusual but temporary.
Botox is a neuromodulator the weakens muscles and allows the overlying skin to have a more smooth appearance. Most complications are related to the injection itself hematoma, bruising or some unexpected weakness of muscles surrounding the injection site (eyelid droop, asymmetry etc.) The problem you describe is not common.

The Botulinum Toxin (Dysport or Botox) should kick in and start working by 2 weeks, If you have significant muscle activity you should contact your physician for a top off.
Botox cannot be removed, but the effects will wear off anyways in 2 to 4 months after the injections.
