Hi. I am South Asian with caramel skin tone. My groin, elbow, knees, neck, and armpits are very dark. I know I probably have acanthosis nigricans because I am prediabetic. I'm super embarrased about my armpits. I have tried tretinoin 0.025% and I don't see much results. It has also made me very sweaty in my underarms. I want to know if laser therapy will work and how long will it take and are the effects temporary or permanent?
