Can I replace my dental bonding with veneer? (Photo)

Question

I chipped my front tooth while brushing, very tiny chip! My dentist decided to fill the whole front tooth with a bonding. I already have a crown on the front left because of a accident when I was young. I switched dentists due to this and I asked her if she would maybe be able to put a venner there instead and she sad she doesnt kno how much tooth structure I have under the bonding. I dont like the looks but theres no other options?

I would recommend 3 veneers and 1 crown for your situation. For proper cosmetics you want the porcelain to be in symmetry with the mirror image teeth. 3 laminate porcelain veneers and one crown replacement of the front 4 upper smile teeth can be transformative in your case IMO.

The presence of composite on tooth does not create a contra-indication for veneers. Even if the tooth consists of a huge filling, a crown on it provides durability and strength.Emax veneer or Zirconia veneer can be used to achieve ideal aesthetics also.
If tooth structure is weak, it can be built by root canal treatment, fiber post-core and veneer on it.
