Excess chin tissue - can this be fixed to make my face more proportionate? (Photo)

I am looking to get some suggestions on how to make my chin look more proportionate to my face. I feel like I have a lot of excess soft tissue but it makes my chin look very pointy. I heard it could be chin ptosis but I don’t know. I can grab the skin with my hand. I want to get a nose job, but i feel like my chin is so overpowering it needs to be fixed as well to make my face more proportionate.

Generally in men I advance the chin 7-9 mm. The maximum is 9 or 10 mm depending on the type of plating system used. The surgery takes an hour and we perform the surgery in the office with intravenous anesthesia. The surgery will not change your bite so patients return to a normal diet quickly.

There is no need to repeat the previous jaw surgery. A sliding genioplasty will give you more chin projection. In men, I typically advance the chin a minimum of 5 mm and usually 7-9 mm. A 3 mm advancement is generally insignificant. The chin can simultaneously be lengthened.
