Will Smart Lipo of the chin give me the results I’m looking for? (photos)

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from chin liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

The majority of patients seeking chin and neck Liposuction have an under developed mandible. it may not be an abnormality but simply a genetic trait. when the mandible is small in comparison to the maxilla the underlying platysma muscle drapes the neck differently and patients lose jawline definition, develop a double chin and can show premature jowls.

Unfortunately a chin implant or sliding genioplasty does not reposition the platysma muscle though it can balance out skeletal imbalance.

Liposuction is probably the best and most straightforward procedure to get what you’re hoping for.

you should get a nice improvement to your central upper neck from smartlipo. this is more accurate and predictable than Kybella. also there will be way less inflammation from smartlipo. you will continue to improve for 6 months after smartlipo so be patient. i would only make you wear a neck garment for 5 days at night since you have very good skin tone. the scar will only be 2mm and will be almost invisible. you can return to work the next day. you should have very little discomfort after the procedure.
