Thread lift and Zygomatic Nerve? (Photo)

15 days ago I had a thread lift on my mid-face a total of 10 threads were used (APTOS Visage Excellence). Since then I have experienced paresthesia and a radiating pain in the left zygomatic region. The pain is exacerbated when the area is evoked from movement or from being pressed. A noticeable effect is that I am unable to close my left eye properly, which is most apparent when sleeping as I wake up with dry eyes. The practitioner who performed the procedure is unsure what to do. Please help.

The cause is most likely a nerve injury, unfortunately, nothing much can be done at this time. In time the nerve will repair itself and you should get back function, unlikely that you get permanent damage, but it is possible. You should put some eye ointment at night to your eyes to prevent drying and corneal damage.
