Where the teeth are screwed down, they have been filled with tape wadding, then a little "clip" placed over. A few weeks ago, I was eating some dry biscuits and it felt like some of the clip broke off, leaving a sharp bit. Tonight, I had some seeded bread and thought I had a seed stuck, so pulled it out with fingernails. It was a stringy, stinky, inch long piece of something that I fear was the wadding. Is the screw capped, or now exposed? What should I do until i can get into the office?
