Can I do scarless breast reduction with liposuction?

Question

Hi , I have a E cup breast “teardrop” , and not saggy. interested in doing a Scarless breast reduction . Can I get liposuction on my Breasts for a reduction and replace the fat with implants after the reduction for a lift ? I want to be a bit smaller , D cup and more lifted but I don’t want to have scars from the lift .

It is difficult to say without photos, but in general, reduction with liposuction alone is not significant, and whether you can get a lift with implants alone depends on the current size and shape of your breasts, and how much skin laxity will be left after liposuction.

Breast reduction performed by liposuction can reduce the size of the breast a moderate amount depending upon the amount of fat.  If you want a substantial reduction or desire a lift as well, then breast reduction by the conventional surgical methods is best.

Breast liposuction can be done in selected cases if the breasts don’t sag too much. Replacing the fat removed with implants may give upper breast fullness but I can’t imagine it will give the breast any lift. An in iersob evaluation would be need to go over the options and determine what your best option would be.

Hi,A scarless breast reduction is done by removing volume in the breast with liposuction. The volume that is able to be removed is fat and not breast tissue, so it suits breasts that have a higher proportion of fat. These are usually older patients, as in  the younger patients the volume is largely breast tissue.It will not " lift the breast though, as the skin envelope will be the same, and using an implant will restore volume, more so than elevate the nipple height.I full assessment is the key to seeing if the procedure will suit you and meet your expectationsAll the bestJeremy Hunt

HiThe answer is possibly.  It will depend on the findings in your examination.  Some breasts have a large proportion of hard glandular tissue which cannot be removed with liposuction.  This is more usual with younger age.  If your breasts are fatty then it may be possible but for most patients you would need the scars from a reduction.RegardsDamien

breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. It is impossible to advise without some photos but liposuction alone can only give a very subtle reduction in volume. You are best to consult with a PS and run through the pros and cons of the procedures you have mentioned.

Thank you for your question.Only a very limited reduction in volume can be achieved through breast liposuction. Putting implants in may "lift" the breast a little, but this will increase you volume and may require a very large implant to accomplish the desired lift.It is important you have a consultation with an experienced PS to discuss your specific goals.I hope this helps

Hi and welcome to our forum!Liposuction of the breasts has limited usefulness. A one removes fatty tissue from the breast, the volume will be reduced, but the skin envelope will not be reduced, leading to sag. In addition, breast tissue is relatively refractory to liposuction. Secondly, breast implants will not lift the breasts.
