I didn't realize I shouldn't be taking vitamin e before surgery. If I stop today, would it still be OK to have surgery?

I have breast reduction surgery. I stopped taking all NSAIDs but I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to take vitamin E. There's 15 mg in my daily supplement. Will it still be safe to have surgery in four days?

You will need to ask the plastic surgeon who will be performing your procedures.  In my practice, no specific vitamins are recommended.  I recommend that my patients stop taking Vitamin E the week prior to surgery to prevent bleeding problems.
