Thank you for your question.  Vanquish doesn't result in weight loss, but rather destroys fat cells through radio frequency technology.  It does offer some skin tightening, but it will not help with loose skin after weight loss.  A tummy tuck is the only procedure that will remove excessive loose skin.  The fat cells destroyed during Vanquish procedure are eliminated naturally by the body slowly over several months, so loose skin from the procedure alone would not be a problem. I hope this helps.

Although the Vanquish RF energy source does contribute to some skin tightening, it all depends on how much loose skin you have and its elasticity. See your doctor for realistic expectations and alternative for skin tightening  afterwards. For example, we often use Velashape 3 to further shrink skin after Vanquish.

Vanquish uses RF, which is not only used for destroying fat, but also tightening skin. It's been my experience that there is no loose skin. In fact, the skin feels firmer and thicker. I use the Z Wave in conjuction with my treatments, and this also helps skin tightening.
