Dark underarms after IPL treatment? I am Asian, Filipino to be exact (Photo)

I had IPL treatmemt to lighten my dark/gray underarm. However, it resulted to hyperpientation. It has been 7months after the one treatment i had and my underarm never lightemed. That is why i never went back forore treatments, which i should have supposedly done, as what i have told/read so. With mu darker underas i am scared on what to do at this point. Is there any hope for this to go back to iys original skintone?or am i doomed? Thanks.

I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation and after care. I recommend silicone gel with growth factors, light therapy and skin care to give improvement. Laser results can take several weeks to settle. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi jmr561,Thank you for your question. There are actually quite a few effective treatments for spider angiomas, but but no matter the treatment used, some angiomas will require several sessions for maximum improvement. Angiomas can also come back over time (at which point you can re-treat them)....
