I had a Vi peel done 4 days ago and started to notice significant swelling around my mouth area about 72 hours after the peel. The skin had already shed away and now my new skin underneath is all swollen to the point where I can't open my mouth. It's so swollen my skin is starting to crack. I tried the hydrocortisone cream and it has done nothing to help. Is this normal and how long should this last? Is this an allergy and if so could it be to the peel or the hydrocortisone cream?
