Lazy eye, uneven eyelids. Are there any procedures to correct this? (Photo)

All throughout high school and even occasionally now I am bullied for having a "lazy eye". As a teen, my mother took me to see an ophthalmologist who said it's not a lazy eye, but my eyelids are uneven. As an adult, I try to mask this with makeup, but some days are more noticeable than others. Are there any procedures to correct this?

Answer: The medical term for lazy eye is not ptosis. Lazy eye refers to a misalignment of the eyes called strabismus.
