Should I be worried about this mole? (Photos)

Question

I’m 35, I have seen a lot of sun in my younger years. 6 months ago noticed a tiny black spot on my right buttock (never seen the sun) and figured it was a new mole. Yesterday realized it was way different. Just want thoughts pls?

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Dear Patient,The photo where you zoomed in shows loculated haemangioma (benign), which is pooling of blood under the skin. I still recommend that you consult a dermatologist to exclude any other pathology.

HI There,
Yes absolutely, it needs to be checked by a dermatologist. They can use a special instrument called a dermatoscope to see if it is benign or malignant.
Is it painful to touch, did you rub or scratch it?
Any new lesion that has changed needs to be checked for skin cancer.

Any concerning or changing moles should be examined by a dermatologist, where a dermatoscope can be utilized to assess for any irregularities.
