Subcision safe after microdroplets Silikon 1000? (Photo)

We use Silikon-1000 for the treatment of broad-based and depressed acne scars, and we do not offer subcision. I am not aware of any study that supports subcision as an effective modality for treating acne scarring. When there are some high areas that may become more noticeable after Silikon-1000 treatments, we may use light electrosurgery with a Hyfrecator to help level the irregular skin. Hope this helps. Subcision can help undermine scar tethering and can help release scar tissue. That said, it will likely have limited improvement in silicone granulomas or lumpiness. I perform silicone removal routinely.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Yes, I believe that it will be safe for you to have subcision after being pleased with results of your prior treatment of Silikon 1000.  There will be no movement of the Silikon.  I agree that usually multiple diffreent modalities are necessary to achieve the best results.  I think you are on the right track.  Good luck!

Yes, we often combine these treatments to get the most improvement for acne scars. These types of scars need a combination of lasers, microneedling/prp, Cosmelan, subcision and fillers. It will take a series of treatments and will need some treatments to maintain. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
