After multiple treatments of laser hair removal the hairs typically become finer and may lighten a bit in color but would not turn white. It is possible that you are now noticing the white hairs as the darker hairs are being removed!
The laser hair removal device does not change the color of the hairs. The laser targets the dark brown or black hairs in the treated areas. Any white hairs that are in the area are not effected by this treatment.
I agree with Dr. DeJuliis. After several laser hair removal treatments, the remaining hairs may become finer and slightly lighter in color, but will never turn white as a result of the laser.Unfortunately, laser hair removal does not work on white hairs nor peach fuzz. Also, it cannot halt or reverse the aging process of hairs, so colored hairs that were predetermined to turn white with aging will still do so.
Hello, The laser only sees and destroys darker colored hairs. What can be leftover are the peach fuzz and the white/gray hairs. Unfortunately, the laser cannot see this light color to pick up on.
Laser hair removal does not change the hair color. Usually after multiple sessions the quality of the remaining hair might become finer but will never turn white. Probably you always had some white hair on your face and once the dark hair is gone the white hair is more visible.
Thanks it is interesting question. The answer is( no) , there is no relationship. The laser waves in the hair removal target dermal and subdermal tissues with are very superficial tissues, whereas the nerves which supply our teeth are very deep and cannot be damaged with such kind of...
Thank you for your question. It's normal sensation with male beard mostly when the hairs are really dark and thick to begin with. The heat delivered by the laser is attracted to the pigment of your hair. So the darker and more abundant your hairs are to begin with the more heat you'll...
Hello! I hope the laser hair treatments are helping with your hair growth, unfortunately I have not run into this problem with blackhead acne after laser treatments where I treat my patients. I recommend following up with our laser providers or a dermatologist to make sure your...
There are many factors in this question. The most important one is who is doing the laser hair removal treatment. I cannot stress this enough and it is by far the most critical. For optimal results I recommend that you see a board-certified dermatologist who does these...
Laser treatments are a medical procedure and you should trust your skin to experts only. I don’t anticipate it to be permanent, if treated and evaluated properly. Nothing replaces an expert opinion and treatment. In the future, Make sure you get the treatment done by a b...
This looks like a large comedone you can have it extracted by an aesthetician. It does appear red , it may be infected. You might even see a doctor for it. You can still get hair removal laser done , i dont think that will aggravate the area. Good Luck!
