Answer: You Can Possibly Combine Liposuction, a Tummy Tuck, and a BBL. Here's How. Thank you for your question regarding if you can undergo liposuction, a BBL, and a tummy tuck in one procedure. The answer is possibly. It depends on your health, the confidence of your plastic surgeon, and careful postoperative planning for your healing position. Let me explain. During your consultation, your board-certified plastic surgeon will carefully examine you to determine if you have enough fat for the BBL procedure. Successful BBLs are based on multiple components including whether you have enough fat and whether the buttock will accept the fat. Other issues become postoperative positioning to minimize compression of the transplanted fat cells. It is also very important for you to consult with your internist to make sure that all of your labs, EKG, and x-rays are in order before the surgery. If your plastic surgeon is confident and your internist believes it is safe to undergo the procedure, I believe you can undergo a successfully combined liposuction, BBL, and tummy tuck. Postoperatively, it will be very important for you to be in a recumbent position with your tummy flexed. Ideally, your tummy will be flexed at 90°. I have my combined tummy tuck and BBL patient sleep on a customized BBL mattress to minimize any pressure on the newly transplanted buttock fat cells. This mattress is able to protect the buttock fat and will allow for the patient to remain bent while protecting their tummy tuck results. It is not a wise idea to lay on your tummy after a tummy tuck because it can stretch the incision and lead to wound opening. Therefore, you can see that you can’t undergo this procedure but multiple factors are involved. I hope this helps answer your question. Good luck. \Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Getting multiple procedures Luckily it’s a free world and patients can have whatever procedure they want that their surgeon agrees to perform. Personally I think a full tummy tuck is probably enough of a recovery and it would be to your advantage to do these as split procedures. Without including pictures we can’t make an assessment. I’m not sure what the point of your post is? For older people some plastic surgeons may want you to get medical clearance from your primary care doctor first. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Can I get liposuction at 57 years old? Yes, we can do a tummy tuck, 360 liposuction and BBL at the same time at any age as long as you are healthy. The Gold Standard for superior liposuction results requires use of the advanced technology of ultrasound-assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I perform full body liposuction cases every week. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently resulted in outstanding liposuction outcomes. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of degree of excess fat by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. If skin redundancy is observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Liposuction, abdominoplasty and BBL in one sitting? Hi and welcome to our forum! From your height and weight information, your BMI is 22.96, in the normal range. Theoretically, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and BBL can be performed in one sitting. However, in our practice, we usually do not combine a tummy tuck and BBL since after abdominoplasty, you cannot rest upon your abdomen, and following BBL, you cannot rest upon your back, making postoperative positioning somewhat difficult. In addition, most surgeons will not perform significant abdominal liposuction at the same time as abdominoplasty due to blood supply concerns. It may be best to break up the surgeries into 2 procedures. Best wishes...
