Breast reduction and uplift scheduled - will general anesthesia be dangerous for me?

All patients who go under plastic surgery should have normal levels of potassium. Your heart relies on potassium for critical functions. Therefore, potassium balance must be maintained to ensure safe anesthesia.
At my practice, we require complete bloodwork for our patients prior to their surgeries to ensure it's safe for them to undergo any procedure. Please make sure you let your surgeon know as soon as possible so he is aware of your condition. Good luck.

Typically general anesthesia is very safe when administered and monitored by a board certified anesthesiologist in an accredited facility.
