4 years later RIPPED out eyelashes have not grown back. Are the eyelash follicles still viable?

When I was 15 for the first day of school I got eyelash extension at a little shop in Walmart(bad idea), they made me look like a drag queen. So I ended up ripping them out as soon as I got home (like an idiot), all my lashes were ripped out with roots.Its specifically been 3 years and a couple months since I pulled them out at 15. About 30% have grown back, is it still possible the rest will grow back. Will latisse help stimulate the "dormat" follicles? Thanks!

It's unlikely lashes will grow back after 3 years but worth a try. You'll want to have a complete hair exam to make sure that a) there are no other reasons for your lack of regrowth and b) to determine if there are any things that can be done to support hair growth. Bimatoprost is likely the best option in this situation but other treatments could be relevant depending on the diagnosis.

Hi and thanks for your question. I would say that lattise would be helpful but you need to see your physician before starting lattise as it has some side effects that should be discussed with a physician
