I am 2 weeks post-op from umbilical hernia surgery. What was originally to be a laparoscopic procedure for a small hernia turned into an open procedure for 2 defects. The surgeon cut them, forming one large hole and repaired with mesh. I was on a 15lb weight restriction for week one and 25 for week 2. As I laid my under 15 pound son in his rocker, I twisted at the core a bit. I felt a large pop, and now I have a noticeable bulge in my belly button that wasn't present even before repair.Thoughts?
