Hello todo you all, It's my first time posting in here after having follow the site for a while. I'm a 25 year old flat chested from Spain. I have no kids. I've always wanted to get a BA done but due to professional reasons i have not been able to do so. My measurements are: 79-59-88 (in cm) 31,1-23,2-34,6 (inches) I wonder what is the máximum size i could go with my BA. I would like to reach a cup C. Could this be possible providing that i have no breast tissue?

Answer: Size, profile, and brand Congratulations on deciding to undergo breast augmentation surgery. Thank you for your question. You asked about implant size, profile, and brand.Size and profile are chosen together based on your body type and look you want to achieve. In an average female, I estimate that for every 150-175cc will increase the cup by one size. So, going from an a to c, you would expect to start around 350cc range. Now, the profile is dependent on your breast measurements. Ideally the implant is centered under the nipple. Usually I try and stay in the moderate plus to high profile range. Moderate profile is too flat and looks like a pancake and I feel that the ultra-high profile does not make for a natural look.As for brand, go with the one that your surgeon feels most comfortable using. Other choices include over/under the muscle, incision placement, and whether or not a textured implant would be a good option. Lots to consider and therefore important to choose the right surgeon. Board certified/eligible is important.Best of luck.- Dr Bryson Richards, MD

Answer: Flat Chested 32aa. What's the Max Size/cc I Can Go? What implant size/profile/brand would you recommend? Thank you for the question. As you consider breast augmentation surgery, the most important decision you make is NOT size/profile of breast implant, but selection of plastic surgeon. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Again, have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining which operation and/or breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C cup" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Therefore, I ask that my patients not base their communication preoperatively OR their satisfaction with the outcome of surgery postoperatively, on achieving a specific cup size. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during this communication phase. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. The use of temporary intraoperative sizers, viewing the patient's breasts in the upright and supine position, are very helpful during the breast implant selection process. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Tissue Analysis Is Important to Determine the Ideal Breast Implant SIze and Style Only a personal consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will determine the ideal breast implant style and size without pushing the limits of your body. The general rule is to use smaller implants whose style is based on the existing tissue and fat, chest and breast measurement (vertical and horizontal), and other underlying anatomies. To compensate for the lack of breast tissue, the submuscular implant placement is often considered the best option for naturally thin women and small-breasted patients. Good luck and best wishes.
