I'm currently on the Yaz pill, have been for two years, and have been experiencing major hair loss/thinning during this time. Bloodwork shows I have a SHBG level of 332. Can this high level SHBG cause the hair loss that I'm experiencing? I'm also on Androcur 10 mg to help with the hair loss, but it doesn't seem to be working, I've been on it for 6 months now, and hair loss has actually worsened. Dermatologist prescribed me the medication, but did so without any tests being done. Thank you.

Yes, 20 strands of hair on your pillow after a 10 hour sleep is totally normal ... it is normal to loose up to 100-150 hair strand in a day...dont worry about.
There is little clinical evidence to support that these laser helmet and laser brushes really do work. Some patients claim otherwise so if you want to use then it would be at your discretion also depends on the cause of your hair loss its always best to talk to a hair loss expert to see what...
You have patterned hair loss, the most likely of which is AGA. No, stress does not give this pattern.Be sure to see a dermatologist to review the cause of your itchy scalp. Seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, psoriasis and even the early stages of AGA give itching.
