I have recently noticed maybe over the last 6 months that my temple veins are becoming more and more prominent and some days they seem slightly bulgy at times. Not very happy about it and extremely self conscious about them. Are these normal and can I have them treated?
Answer: Laser Vein Removal Hi Self conscience Spider veins can be found on the face, upper thighs, back of the legs, and around the ankles. Anywhere a spider vein exists, laser vein removal can be an appropriate treatment method. Our state-of-the-art lasers use precision when treating the specific vein so the tissue and skin around the veins, regardless of how delicate the area is, is generally unaffected. Answer: Treatment options for facial veins Veins like this can be safely eliminated using a vascular laser like the Vbeam or CoolTouch Varia. The laser targets the blood inside the vessel, coagulating it so it collapses and is reabsorbed by the body. The laser leaves surrounding skin and tissue untouched, making this a safe, comfortable treatment with minimal downtime. Make sure the physician that performs your procedure is board certified and has extensive training using these devices to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Prominent veins in the temples These veins are generally considered harmless, unless you have headaches, visual changes, etc for which you should see your Primary Physician and possibly a specialist. Generally, they become more prominent as we age and have loss of tissue volume. Treatments such as removing them or injecting does come with some risks that can be serious, as does filler. Thus, we recommend ignoring them or injecting small amounts of filler near the vessels, with a well-trained provider, to fill in the loss of volume.

Answer: Temple Veins These veins are completely normal. If the area is throbbing or you are having regular headaches you should consult your primary doctor. However if cosmetically more apparent, I would leave alone at this time. If the issue worsens considerably you can consider a small procedure to remove the vein.
