Hi Kurin,Thank you for the question. Pectoral implants are different from breast implants in that they are form stable, meaning that they do not rupture and leak. In fact, we sometimes even have to make small adjustments to pec implants intraoperatively by carving them in order to fit an individual, something you could not do with breast implants. That being said, if they are not causing an issue, they do not need to be routinely replaced. Hope this helps!
