After my reduction (I was a C/ small D) - I feel like I can still fit with my old bras/swimsuits (but the difference is that my boobs look better). I wanted smaller. Today is one week post op - will I be a bit smaller after the swelling goes down? How much smaller will breasts get after breast reduction Swelling?

Congratulations on having undergone the breast reduction procedure; this operation tends to be one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform.

	Although it is not possible to  provide you with real reassurance ( your plastic surgeon is in the best position to do so),  most patients will find that their breasts are significantly smaller several months after  breast reduction surgery compared to one week after breast reduction surgery.  Of course, how much smaller it you will be will depend on exactly how much tissue was removed during the breast reduction procedure.

	I would suggest continued patience and follow-up with your plastic surgeon.
