Can Only a Small Portion of the Buccal Fat Pad Be Removed?

I have a slim cheek on one side but a fat cheek on the other. If a small portion of the fat pad can be removed, it seems like it might be worth it. I'm in my mid-40's and my parents still have quite a lot of cheek fat at 70 though they are not fat.

Partial buccal fat removal can be and is performed. Also, removing different amounts of buccal fat from each cheek can be done to improve symmetry between two cheeks. Yes, small amounts of buccal fat pads could be removed during the procedure. Also, in cases of facial asymmetry, small amounts of buccal fat pad could be removed from the bigger side to achieve more facial symmetry in patient candidates.
