Will a Skin Pinch Above the Cheek Leave a Visible Scar?

The result is funky (yes, that is a medical term) bunching at the top of the cheek.  I would advise extreme caution with a "skin pinch at the top of the cheek."  I would insist on seeing before and after pictures of this procedure.  There are alternatives including lower eyelid skin only excision performed just under the eyelashes, fillers, chemical peels.  The important thing is to understand that it is entirely unrealistic to expect that the cheek will glide up the way it did before surgery.  

If this bunching does not resolve with time and massage you may wish to consider fat grafting and laser resurfacing as alternatives that would not require an incision in that area

If you are asking about a lower eyelid skin pinch to remove small amounts of excess skin, of the lower eyelids, this scar typically heals very well.  

I recommend you wait another 4-6 months to see if this resolves. If improvement is still necessary or desired I would suggest non-invasive treatment to tighten the skin with a laser or chemical peel.

I no longer do mid facelifts for this reason particularly after smiling.. In my opinion it is a disparity between thicknesses of the lifted parts and the thin skin. I feel it is more a volume lack than a skin excess and woud consider a minimal amount of fat in the area by an expert in this area.
